Hey there fellow Pelican flat Six'ers
Wanted to say thanks for all the parts i have been able to find here to finish some of these builds!
I put this video together of some of my favorite race engines i have done.

For the 2.7's The cams is the only thing i cant share, the ports are 40/38 and its 11.5 comp for both.

It is, running slightly more advanced cam timing would make the power curve come down a bit wich would be the best for the street. Also a 39 intake port would be better. Unless you like to turn your street engines to 8000.... personally i do. Every little change makes significant torque and horsepower changes in the curve and the all out numbers. There is so many factors to think about, runner length, port size, the taper in the runner, the curve in the distributor, the type of spark box, the crown on the piston, the end gap on the rings, the Weight of all the different parts, how much time your willing to spend planning measuring mocking up and balancing all add up to big changes. And thats why i love building engines so much.
