Looking for a rear tow hook cover search did not give me much - see pic

Hello all,

So on my many adventures something came off this hole, see pic. I assume it is a tow hook and I just need to find a cover for it from our sponsor or elsewhere.

Google did not give me much or searching for "bumper plug" "tow hook cover" etc on here.

Does anyone know what I can buy to plug that?

I take that back. I ordered the part referenced above from Pelican but it is too small. I should mention my car is Euro spec so not sure if the hole is different?

The hole is about 1" and the plug from Pelican is about 1/4-1/8 too small. I could wrap it in something to thicken it up but I am hoping there is a correct part out there.

Looking at a ROW PET for a 87-89 911 it lists the plug as 999-703-181-40, stopper 25,7 x 32 x 12.

I see it on the PET. I originally was going to order it but our forum sponsor lists it as a FRONT bumper plug. I'll contact them Monday.

I just checked my tickle trunk of miscellaneous small parts. Here's a pic of a spare one for my RoW car from when I lost my plug, so I know they fit the rear bumper tow hook receptacle.
