Trashed the Permatune!
 

Well... not exactly, i just felt it was time to swap it out with a modern unit. A little added insurance. I changed out the ignition unit, wiring harness and coil. Not to long ago- replaced spark plugs, cap, rotor, ignition wires (Clewett). My Permatune was dated 74'- and was still functional, I'll keep it in the trunk as a backup (just in case). My 911 has been firing up faster than ever, i also feel a slight torque increase as well. This is a nice dyi upgrade that can be done in an afternoon. Btw- my setup is the plug and play version, not MSD. Only thing left is to have my dizzy rebuilt. Cheers-
