1987 porsche 930 fuse panel information
Do any of you have that sticker/label that goes onto the 1987 911 turbo? I have the manual, but it doesn't specify accurately what each fuse/relay is. I've also found that it is quite different than the N/A 911's.
anyone?

My 1988 930 has this label on the fuse panel...
I tried to post a scan of it but the Pelican server appears to resize them so PM me if you want a larger version.

Which fuel pump is #1 and which is #2?
The fuel pump in the engine compartment is the one that we hear I believe, and it is second in line... so does this make it #2?

I have a ne fuel pump question... Since each pump has a seperate relay, but one fuse... if one pump was to die (only one of the relay's are bad), would the car not continue to run? A 930 only really needs the second pump while under boost right?
If my car cuts out spontaneaously (normal - non boost driving), would that not mean the wiring in the fuse panel or the fuse? That makes sense to me... anyone else? Otherwise my car would continue to run..

The fuel pump in the engine compartment is #2, under the trunk is #1. If the fuse blows the car will not run as both pumps are wired to one fuse. Lots of people in here have wired each pump separately due to heat and other issues. I have rewired mine into a GM style fuse holder with larger gaug wire to handle the heat. Just gets a little warm now instead of getting hot.

nine30,
Is it safe to assume that if one of the relay's were bad, the car would still run? I presume this as I believe the car can run on one fuel pump.

Ok, I have a 1987 Porsche 930 Turbo that just won't start. Drove it home for lunch and when I went out to go back to work.........it would turn over but no fire. No smell of gasoline, so I am inclined to believe it is either a fuse, relay or one of the fuel pumps. I thought I would start with the easiest one first.
But WHERE is the fuse box located??? Darlene |

You might want to check the fuel pump relays in the engine compartment
