Way to go Paul! Can't wait to hear how your projects unfolds. I'll probably see you @ Dunkel Bros this weekend. Best wishes

Kevin Stewart, I had the exact same problem with an engine that Harald shipped me but I didn't get so lucky.

Kevin's quote: "Yea just e-mail Harald, i had a problem with the expiditor wanting me to pay for shipping when i already paid, i emailed Harald at 12pm eastern time, he called me at 1pm, this was like 8-9 night for him, he called his local shipper and called me back a second time with a three way call, buy 5 oclock my time it was fixed..."

Harald wrote back: "hallo rick
that is the Handling Fee and the Duty ? I thought you were aware of this ?"

Well, I wasn't aware of this and it cost me a substantial amount.
I was also threatened by the shipping company that if I didn't come up with the money in 3 business days, that my shipment would be siezed and would then cost much more to be released.

I am in no way trying to bash Harald, but I do wish I had known what I was getting into, as it set me back financially for some time. I suggest to anyone who deals in overseaes shipping to have a cash cow ready for 'unforseen' expenses like this...

Correct, I bought the engine from my buddy (K9Handler) that moved to Germany from the States. The price of the engine was better than I could have bought one out here for.

Had I known the total price involved (including this hefty 'expeditor fee'), I would have had to seriously rethink the situation.
