3.2 Electric seat sliders/rails mod to manual?

Hi all, I'm swapping my 8-way original electric seats in my 1987 911 to cobra classic RS seats and am wondering if I can use the existing seat rails/sliders or if I need to buy different sliders?
I can't figure out how to remove the sliders from the original seats so if anyone knows or has done this I'd be grateful for some advice.
Also the existing sliders have no front handle to pull to release the seats for instance - it's looking to me like I need new sliders for manual seats...?
