Sunroof part question,,can't find anywhere in diagrams
 

I have a 85 Carrera and I am renewing the sunroof parts. On the underside of the sunroof panels there are 2 rectangular pads (seem like a white felt but black dirt on sides)on the rear on each side. They are inline with the guide rails. I would really appreciate that. My cables both broke loose so decided to renew everything in there while I was in there so this will help me get my car back on the road.
