Deleting SC sidepanels - how to handle those bores?

Hello,

as I just realigned/reset the ride hight on my SC and thus I did take the sidepanels off and as I aktually like the delete-sidepanel-look, I'm left with the bores of the screws to fix the panels.

Welding them shut is not an option right now.

Has anybody come up with a genious idea to plug these?
Or is it just that simple: get som mini plugs and done?

Or is there a narrow trim one could fit instead?

Maybe you have pictures of your solution(s).. thanks!

I went to local hardware store, found tiny plastic plugs, used touch up paint and painted them body color and pushed them in.

I used black rtv silicone (car is black) to fill the holes.

+1. Even though the smallest plugs are tiny, I still had to modify them to fit.

Flo, you have a better side view pic of the car with the 'PORSCHE' Martini stripes?

I used plastic caps that are designed to cover screw heads on kitchen units. Simple coat of paint and glue in pace. They almost looked factory

I just put rivets in the holes then touched them up with paint.
