Rustproofing my 3.2 Original Under body Colour?

Hi Guys,

I am going to rust proof my 3.2 shortly including painting under the floor and in the wheel arches.

I was wondering what colour these were originally if anyone knows?

It makes sense to me to paint them back in original colours if I can.

Cheers

Stewart

Is there any signs of rust now? Your car should have a galvanized body with rubber undercoating already And it worked fairly well if kept up.

You keep rust away by keep the undercarriage clean and dry.

Ask 962 Porsche in the paint forum, Chipgaurd was a tan color NLA some chipgaurds can be tinted with Akrylic enamel tints.

Hi Stewart!..How are you going!..I see that you are still 'busy' with your car...Did you convert it to RH drive?.. Our '86 has textured flat blk under the fender wells with the the floor pan in a grey coloured texture, with cosmoline over it, with the inside of the trunk being a textured tan.

Take care

Michael
