Third brake light

Hello Targa Country.

I’m looking to install a third brake light on my 85 Targa, as even Guard Red can’t stop the large SUVs and others from nearly running into me.

Nice bright LED, made by Hella, there are 3 models with different angles to suit your car, and you can adjust the angle a bit once installed. I aimed mine at pick-up truck height

I used another Hella LED unit for mine (purchased from JC Whitney of all places) to help in the fight against brain dead drivers. I also bought a flasher unit designed for motorcycles to further help in the fight against distracted drivers, but haven’t installed it yet. I think the Danial Stern offering would be easier to install, though extends further down on the rear window.
