Valvoline All-Fleet 15W-40

Is this stuff any good?

Here's whet they say:
Valvoline All-Fleet Premium conventional engine oil is a high performance universal mixed fleet oil, recommended for gasoline, LPG and diesel engines.

This oil is specially engineered to provide extra protection for vehicles operating under severe service demands of mixed fleets. Selected additives help minimize sludge formation caused by frequent stop-and-go driving, thereby helping reduce engine wear. Additional benefits include soot dispersancy and piston deposit control which helps keep engines cleaner.

I use Valvoline 15-40 in all my cars in the winter (now that I live in Chicago not San Diego) before switching to 20-50 in the summer. Never had a problem. It's great oil and it seems to never break down.

Valvoline VR1 Racing 20W50. Add to that Liqui-Moly MoS2 as a solid lubricant additive.

Diesel oil usually has ZDDP

Diesel oils tend to have the high-pressure additives like VR1 and EZ local availability. Just check the ZDDP or pressure ratings. I used to blend my own winter oil with different viscosity grades back in the day. Also, make sure that it does not have problems with German Oil Seals. Diesel oils generally have to rate on high pressure contact. VR1 is available in several grades but may have to be ordered/delivered. I am an owner that can run 20w50 year-round so keep sending that good tasting Canadian Beer south. Cheers

I had one little leak then I tried Brad Penn then It went to 4 big leaks.
Went back to Valvoline VR1 20W50 and now I'm down to two little leaks.
It is a Mag case.
