Any one herd from Larry Fletcher of CIS FlowTech?

Going on three weeks now. Phone just rings and if the answering machine does come on it's full and can't take any more messages.

Anyone?

not good. hope he is OK.

SkunkWorks 05-31-2017 09:34 AM

Last spoke with him May 1st.

Hard to get ahold of usually, and in my case, quite frustrating as he had my part for nearly 3 months after initially telling me I'd have it back in 2 weeks.

Keep trying - good luck!

CIS FlowTech rebuilt my WUR last year, and it wasn't easy to get a hold of him. He was quite rude to me on the phone to the point that if he didn't have my part already, I wouldn't have used him, but he got my part turned around to me in about a month. Sounds frustrating, but you'll eventually get him. He's a popular guy to send stuff to. I've been told by a couple people that he can be backed up a few months at times.

Does he have your parts or are you looking for somebody to do work for you?

Dick Shift 05-31-2017 12:23 PM

yes he has parts.

just called 5/30 10:20am and answering message basically was; "We are behind and working hard to catch up". And there was no room for any new messages. OK....

Larry typically has several month lead times. I work with him to keep a constant flow going and stock the more popular WURs and FDs for instant turn around. You can't wait three months when the car is in the shop ...

I spoke to Larry few weeks ago and he said he supposed to have shoulder surgery. Probably that is why no one is answering the calls.

How hard would it be to put that on an answering machine or email? Always surprised how businesses survive with no communication...

Sometimes even the best laid plans go off the rails. Wife had baby Sunday night. I thought I would be in the office by Tuesday but my daughter went to the icu. Haven't been to the shop all week. Guard Transmission phone machine won't tell you that. Try to remember there are people behind these brands and it isn't always under their control.

Though I cannot speak to his situation just giving a real example from a hospital room with my baby finally in my arms.

Congrats Matt.

we use to talk quite a lot, usually late in the afternoon or early evening. seemed like he was winding down around then and I was not keeping him from work. have not talked to him in at least a year.

I also think he has more business than he can handle and he is behind and the phone just slows him down.

7/15/2017 and still no word from Larry.......???????

G60SuperCharger 07-23-2017 10:18 AM

He picked up the phone two weeks ago and he said he would get to mine next week. No call from him yet. He's had My FD and WUR for almost three months now.

I got the impression that he has a massive backlog. Anyone else been in communication with him? Gotten repaired parts back from him recently? Just want to know that work is still being done.

I own a high-end architectural casework/millwork and custom furniture manufacturing/design firm. Never promise what you can't deliver!!!!!! Sometimes you have to say NO! Just always be straight up.

Some times you can just state that it takes 4 weeks - then deliver in 3..... then you are the hero. Not my style, but I know alot of manufacturers and service companies that will do just that.

G60SuperCharger 08-15-2017 09:16 AM

Over three months now and no distributor. Anyone else get your parts back yet?

Dick Shift 08-15-2017 09:50 AM

May 30th till now not a word.....

Dick Shift 10-20-2017 09:47 PM

Oct. 20th 2017, still MIA ?????

SkunkWorks 10-21-2017 11:13 PM

Sent him my WUR back in February. I got it back in early May.

I suppose I was lucky he picked up the phone - but I did call near every week as when he did answer, it was always a new reason for the delay and a "I'll have it to you next week" followed with silence unless I rang him for the reminder.

Reiver 10-22-2017 08:24 AM

Something is up.....I've always had no issue getting up with him and he likes to chat....

He did a great rebuild on my WUR and am thinking about a fuel head exchange simply because it is 34 years old.
