Jwest Eccentric Adaptor & Momo Adaptor for Tall Drivers
Hello All,
I've read previous threads on the Jwest adaptor. But, has anyone used the Momo 1/2" adaptor in addition to the Jwest? I am 6'5" and trying to get more legroom between seat and wheel. I've read positive feedback on the Jwest - not sure if the Momo is needed too? Thanks. |

Try the jwest first then buy the additional spacer if needed. You will have to get longer bolts to fit thru both spacers. I have the jwest with a momo mod 07 (70mm dish) and I love it.

I bought one in addition to a Sparco 2" spacer when I switched to a non-dished 260mm Momo wheel. I switched to the Momo mainly to bring the wheel closer to me, as I'm 6'3". I found that with the spacer and the eccentric adapter, the wheel was too far up because the 2" spacer moves it up slightly already. I removed the eccentric spacer and its in the box now. If you don't need to move the wheel closer, but just up slightly, the eccentric spacer should be fine. If you want to try it with the .5" spacer, that might be ok.

I bought one (6ft, 32inch length pants, 32 shirt). I also bought an extended hub. With both it moved the wheel up too much for my liking. Ended up selling it here. Didn't try it without the extended hub, but I like my current setup. It is $50 bucks if I remember correctly, I would just buy one and see if you like it (easy install) and if not return it or sell it.

6'6 here. I used an ASR 3" spacer with a momo hub to my momo prototipo 350mm wheel. This does does two things.
1. Allows your right knee someplace to go and allows you to shift into first. I guess you need that. :-P 2. Allows you to move the seat back and recline it so you have headroom and still have good reach on the steering wheel. I also used a seine systems 3" extension on the shifter. with a Rennline aluminum knob you can drop the knob nearly an inch or so down on the extension so you can make it longer and shorter effectively. This allows you to hit 5th without having to leave the reclined position. ![]()
