Any experience North Hollywood/PaloAlto?

I have to repair a tach, check an electric speedo and install new bezels. I have no experience with North Hollywood or Palo Alto? Or are they both reliable?

I used Palo Alto. I was in town on business. Dropped the clock off on Monday and picked it up on Thursday. That place was jumping! It is a very impressive operation. Ever seen a high end watch repair place? Think that.

The guy at the counter showed me an example of a couple of gauges from the same car. I think it was a Dusenberg barn find. One gauge had been finished and the other hadn't been started. Stunning is all I can say.

I am not saying North Hollywood isn't good. Frankly, I've heard good things about both.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

North Hollywood did mine. Came back beautiful. Usually with products / vendors here with good reputations I'm skeptical, but they were no joke.

+1 for North Hollywood. Did a recalibration on my speedometer and had it done and back to me within a couple of days.

North Hollywood x2 - Did both my Tach and speedo on separate occasions. Both times I had them back in a matter of days.

North Hollywood did all the gauges for my 1972 911T...full restoration

Not inexpensive ($1900) but they look like new.

North Hollywood did my speedometer and tach about 6 years ago, and I had them reconfigure the redline to be straight up and adjust the speedo so I could see the speeds without the blind spot at the top of the steering wheel. The orange on the tach doesn't reflect the true color well in this picture, but that's just my poor photography/camera. In person, it's as good or better as from the factory IMO. I lived in Burbank at the time so I just dropped them off and picked them up a week later.

Hartmut at Palo Alto was a tremendous help to me with a relatively minor tach lighting issue - he could not have been nicer

I really like that tach face. But it's a 4 to 6 week delay in getting my car in the road. Might send it back in the winter for that.

Had NH do all my gage faces and glass and am more than satisfied with excellent work. Unfortunately, I should have had the odometer gear replaced preemptively as it disintegrated about a month after I got the gages back in the car.
Certainly a while you are in there thing to consider as the cost is minimal at that point.
Buds have used Palo Alto with similar praise.

+1 on NHSpeedo. +1 on getting your odo repaired even if it's working now.

NH & PA have never been owned by the same Individual; currently, Ralph Kling owns NH, Hartmut Mees owns PA.
