does anyone knows this 82 SC Targa ?

hi all

i recently bought this 82 sc targa but it has no records at all.
so maybe someone will recognize it and will give me some informations about former owner or shop that used to work on it.
there is a pca sticker on the window so i guess the former owner was a pca member.
car was in washington state and i bought it form a californian pro.

on the vehicle description is said that the car was serviced at aker's porsche in seattle and porsche bellevue in washington
thanks

If there are any noticeable scratches or minor bumps that might provide more identification? Also any info on AC, interior, steering wheel, shifter, or other things people commonly customize may help. LSD?

If you're comfortable with it, publishing the VIN could go a long way to getting it identified.

Denny's shop (Aker's) is very good and John Walker recommended them to me when he did not have time to do a quick PPI on my '78. You might call them directly or email them the pic and VIN and have them comb the records. You REALLY want records with your car!

Might also contact someone heading to John's swap meet this Saturday - they can ask around the group that shows up - reasonably small community and someone will know about the car I would guess. Don't ask John - he will be very busy!

I would call them at 206.329.5253, tell them your situation as briefly as possible with your VIN and best description, then let them soak through their records at their leisure. They may provide you with an email address you can use to communicate at each party's leisure.

This is just keeping in mind that these shops are busy, as you know, and any immediate response is probably unrealistic.

Good luck - nice car!
