87 Coupe - Third Brake light on with ignition on

Weird issue with my third brake light.

When I turn the car to ACC, prior to the ignition, my brake lights all light up except the third brake light.

As soon as I turn the ignition over and the engine turns over my third brake light comes on. Tapping the brake pedal does nothing for the third light.

Anyone experience this?

Brake light switch(s)on the master cylinder is probably gone bad.
