Gaining 10 pounds is no small feat considering your starting point of +/- a buck zero two! Nice work!

My driver's window is off track (again) so i am tackling that this weekend. It will be my first car project since December!!!!! I really hate taking the door apart again but it is doable- nothing too heavy.

Looking great and so healthy, congratulations! Any chance the dress matches your custom 911 fabric?

Thanks. I attribute my success to cake (almond), ice cream, and red wine. From 98 to 106 pounds in a month-yummmmm

^^^

Was wondering the same . . . been radio silent for some time now.

Alyona Yarushina looks to be about the same size as Queen M., but I don't know if The Queen has pipes like this!

One of my favorite YouTube wimminz covering a mellow song from one of my favorite bands.

Nice posts guys, thanks! Raw, your taste in music is improving

And since you asked about my "pipes" -I sing (sang) with 3 groups. A chorus, a mixed barbershop group and an a capella female quartet. Yes, a queen of many talents (hahaha). Maybe someday I will post a link to one of our you tube videos.....but then you guys will totally fall for me.

Unfortunately, despite the breast cancer being cured, the muscle weakness has progressed some to the breathing and swallowing muscles. I am still able to eat, but turn a little blue with over exertion. This makes working on the cars myself a little out of reach at the moment.https://forums.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/eek.gif
I am able to drive both of the P cars to work on good days and recently got the '66 outfitted with a dual master cylinder for safety. I was planning to do it myself, but didn't want to put it off any longer. They were nice enough to use all the parts I had acquired and did a tidy job. Now I just need to get AC in the '66 - no easy task!

Health wise, next stop is the "neuro-muscular center" at the John's Hopkins. They will do a second opinion and also are participating in many experimental clinical trials. Do any of you guys live in that area? I will be there for at least a week hanging out getting poked with needles, and would love to see a few P cars! Maybe I will do a road trip there?

Here is a photo so you don't get too worried by how things sound - as you can see I am still quite regal, have a sweet pedicure and to quote the Duchess of Windsor "you can't be too thin"

Love you guys and appreciate the well wishes and support - sorry the news isn't happier but I have big BIG plans for the future so try not to feel sad about this.

A comment such as that is a sure way to get tuneage such as this posted in your thread, Queen M!!!

It's great to hear from you here, and I really hope you have a successful outing at John Hopkins.

PS - your toes rock!

Hi Queen,

Not quite the good news we were hoping to hear, but if anyone can beat all this crap, it will be you.

Nice that you’re able to drive your cars around a bit.

Hang in there and please keep us updated.

Best,
Rutager

So, I'm in CT, and JH is in MD....drat. And my 911 isn't roadworthy.

But, instead I will go and work on my '73E. I'll get dirty, and cut myself on something, and maybe grumble. But, I'll be reminded that I'm blessed. Thanks.

Hang in there, I know it's got to suck being so far from home, esp with such a situation.. You have an awesome attitude, and that's half the battle. Stay the course !

Hey, your toes look just like mine!

Hahahahaha... No, no they don't. An angle grinder and Dremel would likely be required for my pedicure. And bright pink (or fuchsia or raspberry or...) isn't exactly my colour, either.

It sounds like you're getting some decent medical attention and care. Hope you feel better shortly and keep up the positive vibes.

Cheers.
