Oops, I screwed up drilling exhaust studs
I was drilling out some bad exhaust studs and a small amount of metal bits went down into the exhaust valve area. The valve was closed. I used a magnet and a vacuem cleaner go get most out. Is there anything else I can do without taking the engine apart to prevent damage?

If valve closed, clean out the best you can. When you turn engine over, the exhaust valve should expel not inhale anything anyway.
