Pulley Cup Seal Installation
When installing this cup seal should the inner lip face outwards or inwards towards the engine? It's molded to face inwards but wants to reverse itself at install even with a light coat of oil on the shaft. I am keeping the OD and bore dry.

Looked for some pics in the engine rebuild forum. Seal points inward which makes sense - answered my own question.
