Yes Nick, it is metallic, although there is very little fleck in it (not original, BTW).
When (if) the car gets repainted, I would consider going to non metallic; but I must admit it looks nice the way it is. |
Nick, are you restoring two 911 cars - this early one and your IROC replica?

Yes , 2 cars. The 2.7 Carrera is in a bodyshop, has been for 14 months now, and is due back in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure whether I can finish the 2.2E myself in that time, but I am going to do as much as possible. It will have to be out of tha garage to make room for the 2.7.
