tranny fill and drain plugs

Went to change the tranny fluid on my 88 w/ a G50. 101 Projects said the fill and drain plugs on the G0 require a 19mm socket. Got under the tranny and could not find a 19 mm plug for either. Where the both 19 mm plugs were supposed to be, the ones I have require a 10 mm hex key not even a 17 mm hex as in the 915s. I guess mine were changed out at some point? The real kicker is I tried to remove the fill plug first, and it would budge. Tried everything I know. Does anyone have some thoughts?

Take it to a dealership for a trans fluid change and ask them to put the proper 19mm fill & drain plugs in?

The 10mm hex plugs are the correct ones for your (G50) car. If they are stubborn, soak them with PB Blaster, and use a short 10mm hex-key (Allen head) socket and a breaker bar. It will "snap" loose, just keep trying. When putting them back in, use a bit of anti-seize on the threads to make future removal easier.

I believe all of the G-50 plugs use the 10 mm hex bit, and that 101 Projects has an incorrect entry.

We'll at least I'm not going crazy (yet). What's PB Blaster?

I know one OTHER (if he's wrong about the plug) mistake Wayne made in this project....stating it would only take 1 hour. I spent 2 hours just cussing.
