part number help....engine/trans mounts

i'm putting an order from our host together and need some help.
from reading jack olsens posts and many others (from an insight from roninlb), but need to know which part numbers/mounts to use and which ones where.

Bell,

You can tell if your axles are the early or late model by looking at the outer end of the axle. The part of the axle at the trailing arm. If the CV joint is bolted to the stub axle, you have the early axles. If there are no bolts near the CV boot, you have the later axles.

This picture shows the early axle setup. See the bolts near the CV boot?

For your 85 i'd go with the Club Sport/Cabrio engine mount. It's a little firmer than the stock Coupe/Targa mount. It's still rubber construction, but just a little higher durometer material i'm sure. Plus it's cheaper!!! You need part # C-375-403-07 from Pelican

Engine/Trans. mounts

You'll need 4 of them to replace all four mounts. Meaning, the engine bay mounts and trans. cross member mounts are EXACTLY the same part.

If you're thinking about the solid mounts, I have no experience with them.

now i understand the difference in the axles :)
once we figure out the mounts i'll be all set.
