Big pair of Swapmeets this weekend!

For those of you who don't know, the Literature Meet at the Hilton and the Dunkel Bros 356 meet will be this weekend!

It's fun to watch how it's grown over the past five years. Must have been about 20 cars there in 1998, now there are hundreds!

I'll be at Dunkels this weekend. I don't think you can really call it the 356 meet, however. That may have been how it originated, but last year there was a great turn out of all types of cars. Of course with my recent purchases I won't have much left over to spend at the swap meet. I'll be there with my SCWDP t-shirt and most likely Porscheless.

Last year someone put up a name tag with the Pelican logo for the Speedfest. I wore it to the event and was the only one. Was I a dork? I thought it was a good idea. I'd like to put some faces to names this weekend. Seems like a lot of Pelicans will be there from all over and out of state. I'll wear the name tag again if anyone thinks it's a good idea and it appears here again. I don't care if I'm a dork.

Is the LAX Lit show also a swap meet?
Besides books, what will they have there?

I'll try to hit up both events, but will be at Dunkels for sure

By all means wear your name tag. I hate it when I go to an event and can't put the screen names with the faces. I'll be wearing my PCA name tag so no one has to address me as pal, or ace, or buddy
