Eibach Sway Bar Testing

Hello All

We at Eibach developed sway bars for the aircooled 911's. We need a SC and a later 84 - 89 to check the fitment. Please let me know, if we can borrow your car for two days. Our plant is in Corona, CA. We can pick up your car (30 mile radius) or just drop it off and take tour through the facility. We make it all here in house; springs, bars and shocks.

Thanks
Christian

good to see a company like Eibach getting involved in the community.

Would a '76 S suffice? Does the car need to be able to move under its own power or is this for fitment purposes only?

Throw in a free sway bar and your parking lot will be full when you get to work in the morning.

Sorry, it needs to be a driver or I would have used my SC. We will leave the bars on the car, so you get a free sway bar kit with a free install.

PM sent.

You guys are a little far from Detroit, but for the front are you planning on under body or through body?

The bars will be the same shape as the factory bars with the same mounting points. They will be larger in size and come with new bushings. Some applications will have tubular and adjustable bars.

Hello!

I'm in south Los Angeles, about 45 minutes from you guys.
I have a 78 SC, a little rough around the edges but runs and rides.

Feel free to message if you're interested, I can send photos.

Thanks!

Hello seanscadalous

Thank you for your offer, we are covered on the SC. We are using schleven's car. Still looking for a later 84 - 89

Yes, they do. I believe the G50 rear bar will also work on a 915 car.

FYI
'84-85 Carreras have the same sway bars as SCs, 20mm front, 18mm Rear.
'86 Carreras have similar shaped bars, but the sizes were increased to 22mm front, 21mm rear.
'87-89 Carreras (not including '89 Carrera 4) have the same 22mm front bar, but there was a bent section added to the center of the 21mm rear bar to clear the G50 transmission.
