Ordered! Do you know when they'll ship? Is the rim thicker like the Magnus walker wheel was or are these slim like the standard prototipo?

Did you order the silver or black version?

Dish: 39mm

I ordered the black. Standard prototipo wheel (from what I've found online) also has a 30mmx30mm rim.

Ah, so you ordered part #MO-PROTOTIPO and not the black one in this thread, part # MO-PROTO-HTG-BLK?

Sorry for the confusion, I ordered the new black heritage wheel.

Ok, great! Just wanted to make sure I gave you the correct info. So, the new heritage wheel has the same "distressed" leather as the Magnus wheel, but the Magnus wheel has a thicker grip than the standard Prototipo. It appears the heritage looks like its still the standard grip. As far as ETA, when you can shoot me your order # (via PM) and I will check on the status tomorrow. I do know that we don't have them in stock at our warehouse currently.

I want a simple, dished, silver, thick rimmed Protipo?

It doesn't exist,

I've a wide-body and I tried one of the 350mm "fighter" wheels years ago. Drove around the block once and sold it. Completely impractical. Couldn't see the gauges or parallel park the car.

Dished so I don't have to put in an extension, larger diameter so I can see the gauges/leverage and thick rimmed.....more meat more comfortable.

Seems like a no brainer? I won't swap functionality for style.

I should have a black, dished, 37cm prototipo lying around somewhere at home that I might sell. But it won't be cheap. If you are okay with that, feel free to pm me.

I still think it is more fun to make a new new looking wheel look used !
