I just had this done on my 79' 911. Call Schatz & Krum @ 916-381-3144. They are in Rancho Cordova and seem like good guys.

As far as a wrench goes, I would highly recomend IPB-Autosport( 453-1465 ) on Broadway. Bill and Ron are the owners. They are involved in the local chapter as well as racing etc. Very honest and dependable.

Agreed. Gary's shop, Renntech is the best shop I've found in Sacramento. He's just west, in Auburn. 530-887-0800 is the number I've been using.
He did a great job helping me get a Euro 3.0L into my 71T economically. He's also been helpful in tracking down rare parts... |

Another very knowledgeable and good independent wrench in Sacramento is Frank Lettini (Frank's Auto) on Folsom Blvd around 59th St. I've been very impressed with his knowledge and work. His son Nick isn't too bad a P car wrench either.
