911SC Bumper support?

I’m putting my first 911 back together after someone else took it apart and while the parts catalog has been invaluable, there are some things that I just can’t figure out how they go back together. It looks like I am missing part no. 91150546300. Two questions, (1) how important is this piece, and (2) can someone post a picture of what it looks like and where it goes? I circled it in red in the attached picture from the manual.

I didn’t recognise the part on my car and checked PET. The part numbers for items 2, 3 and 4 are missing from the table, it goes straight from 1 to 5. No idea what the part is or why it’s not called up in PET. Sorry

Isn't that the extra bracket to help save the Oil Cooler in the event of a crash?

Side note: Get the Haynes Repair manual for the 911. IMO this is the perfect addition to get to know how the 911 is mounted.

It contains many exploded views of every component of the car whoch is quite useful.

That is, indeed, what that is. Part of the 5 MPH impact bumper standard (protecting the oil cooler in order to meet the repair cost upper limit in the event of an impact up to 5 MPH). It is not needed, per se.

If you're running without it, you might consider adding some foam seal / weatherstripping to fill the gap around the oil cooler shroud.

I have one of these that you can have for free (plus shipping).

Thanks all for the responses. Sounds like it's not absolutely necessary. I'm still running the trombone oil pipe so I may just go without the bracket.
