Key pouch
Which key pouch belongs to a 1988 Porsche 911? How does it look and what are the details to look for? If you have a 1988 Porsche and you happen to still have the original or you have one and know it is a 1988 key pouch, please leave me pictures of it. Thank you very much.

I've got a burgundy pouch that I bought new in '87 for my '86 with a burgundy interior. It's about 4x3" and has the Porsche crest in the lower right corner. It has a tan interior and a ring on the end of a leather strap attached to the bottom of the pouch.
I've got a picture of it on my phone, but I can't figure out how to attach it here. If you want it, send me your number to text it or email address to send it. |
Key pouch.

^^^^^ Hope this helps. I added the metal crest. Best, Gerry |
I have an '88 911 and I am told that this key pouch came with the car. I don't use it anymore as I am trying to preserve it. It is a little bit tired but the leather strap is still intact. I've never seen anything else like it. It does not have a Porsche crest or any markings. The interior is tan.

Thank you.
Till now I see the 'newer' type of pouch. The one with the rounded upper corners, which was (to my opinion) also with the 964 and 993. And not the squared like the 'older' of the 70-ties and early 80-ties. |
Hello MSterling. The leather is a bit worn. This pouch looks to be used for a long time and to me original indeed. You write that you don't use it any more so I pressume it is not easy to make and ad more pictures of it. If it is not, would you please ad more pictures? Thank you.
