Aux Brake Vac pump for 3.6L with ITB's and ECU
Ayles suggested this vac pump for the brake system vac suurce.
Has anyone plumbed it in ? Would you recommend it ? Other recommendations ? EV Vacuum pumps.... Metric Mind p/n MES 70/6E2 An electric vacuum pump is used in electric or conventional vehicles to boost the vacuum needed for normal operation of power assisted brakes. Featured pumps are reliable, light and very low acoustic noise, and do not require any external vacuum switches. The vacuum is controlled by integrated control circuitry consisting of vacuum sensor and internal solid state vacuum switch. Typical maintained vacuum level is -600…-650 mbar (17.7…19.2 ” Hg). The pumps will work differently at high elevation. This needs to be considered for your application.Choose the type below for more detailed description. MES 70/6E2

i have used this one for years in my 911 vintage car. works very well. in fact , i can sell you mine as i just switched to a tilton dual MC setup which does not require vac. email me if interested. FRankrauscher@wistar.org

workshop has done this on my 3.6 with ITB's and ECU..
works really well. also did on my 240z (triple webers) |
