Hi guys, trying to buy a 1970 911T Karmann coupe and trying to figure out if the numbers are matching.

Ted,
No one on this forum will be able to tell you that. You'll have fork out a couple hundred bones for a COA or a Kardex. Dave Pateman can get you a Kardex. Porsche North America can get you a COA. Best of luck. |
I do not believe you can get a kardex for a LWB car, I also believe if you call PCNA and give them the numbers they will verify if they are original to the car without you having to buy a COA.

Hi,
The engine no. Is correct for a 1970 US 911T. So seems it could be the original engine. Regards Stefan. |
I called PCA HQs and they called me back to confirm the ser number of the 1971 Targa and engine number matched, before I bought the car.
Nice of them. |
Ted let me know how you came out with the information. I am looking to also build a data base for production dates, so if you purchased a COA from Porsche, curious if you received a production date along with it. Thanks-
