Is this hub and spindle toast?

Hi All,
Just wanted to tap the experience of the group and see if you think these are salvageable. Have a lateral run out on the front hub and pulling it I noticed a gouge and a protrusion near the inner bearing. The spindle has a few lines on it.
I thought a machine shop might be able to do something. What do you guys thing?
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Hub is OK unless race spins, spindle needs measuring with a pair of calipers and measure the bearing inner race, if its within a few thou it should be OK. it looks like someone in the past used a large screwdriver to seat the bearing race. It doesnt look like the seal area is scratched and if it was i would use some non hardening sealant on it.

Hey Thanks,
I'll measure and try some emory paper. My budget would be stretched to replace them.

Locktite makes products that would enable you to use that spindle.
