You have to bend the left drop line to fit. The change has to do with the color of the metal ends as the gold hasn't been available for several years.

Hi ,don`t worry about bending the little oil supply line .This problem has been around since the 1980`s...Have look i just modified one on this engine and it works fine...use wise-grip pliers ..first bend it to the right and then left .

Just a heads up. I know you were just test fitting but don't forget to put the washer between the oil line and the 17mm female bolt attached to the case when you connect it for real.

Had the same WTF reaction when I replaced mine.

My buddy bend it by hands by holding the tube between his thumbs and index and bending it outward while sliding his thums away from the bending point (multiple pass).

Same thing happened to me on my SC with oil-fed tensioner. I had to modify the small line on the driver's side. Interestingly, I recently did the passenger side and was expecting to have to fiddle with it, but the passenger side line fit right in with no mods.
