Looking for new projects.

Hi All,

I'm coming to the end of the 'Scoundrel' project and looking for my next one.

I my naivety, I have been looking online in the warmer parts of the US.

What I am ideally after is a 911 with a few bumps and bruises, bad paint and rotten interior to keep the costs down.

I started looking on Craigslist, and came across readytofix.com, which like an idiot I paid my registration fee, only to get links to others unwieldily websites.

I have also looked on bringatrailer.com and visited a few times the Beverley Hills car club, but their prices have raised considerably since I started going there.

Any suggestions of where I can find cars, and not necessarily Porsches, that need bringing back to life, I'd be extremely grateful.

Bring a trailer has become bring a bucket of money lately. You can nationwide search craigslist for your favorite brands.

I have a friend with a 1972 BMW 2002 Tii project, email me directly if interested.

Time to download BRZO to your phone. It's a craigslist aggregator app that does an amazing job at finding specific vehicles.

If your overseas the last site you wanna deal with is craigslist. What kind of projects are you looking for and how much money do you have to spend? Make a list and shoot me a PM I'm always searching. For instance a member on here has several 911's for sale right now and some are projects. Craigslist can be a huge waste of time with fake ads for cars that don't exist.

How about this - Project / driver 89 with 57,000 miles £20,000 in Toronto. No rust. PM me if interested in more detail - lots of new parts. Safety certified and on the road now. Can help with shipping arrangements.

Have you looked in our classified area? We have ones in there that need a little work for reasonable prices every now and then: Porsche Cars For Sale - Pelican Parts Technical BBS.

This one has a sale pending, but gives you an idea of what you can find in there: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/962661-1980-911sc.html.

Good luck!
