Droopy clutch pedal
The clutch pedal on my 911sc is droopy. Instead of being totally upright it is about half way down. The pedal is still firm and all gears engage smoothly. I think I have the clutch cable adjusted properly. Any ideas why the pedal is lower than normal?

The helper spring pulls the pedal down and will take up any slack in the cable adjustment. So I'm guessing you clutch cable is actually way to slack. Take a bungee or tie-down strap and use it to hold the pedal at the top of it's travel, then go under and recheck the clutch adjustment. I'll guess you find it needs to be tightened.

the issue is likely in your pedal cluster.
even with the cable off completely when you are working down there the spring on the pedal wants to whack you in the face if you are not careful. I just replaced my cable because it snapped and it was a pain to keep the pedal down so I could do the clevis pin. the pedal kept popping back up with the spring on the pedal assembly. Start there. Pelican Parts - European Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche • BMW • Mercedes • Volkswagen • Audi • Saab • Volvo • MINI if the spring is fine id disconnect the spring and see if the bushings are swollen and binding. You can replace all the bushings in the pedal cluster you can use original plastic or bronze bushings, there are arguments for both . I used he bronze.
