3.6 valve cover question

Just got my package frompelican parts with valve cover gaskets, exhaust gaskets, and new clips to hold the wires to the block, After adjusting the valves do i need to apply anything to the valve cover gaskets silicone? or just grease, these are totaly different the 3.0's, ill have a up date this weekend on the project, I plan to adjust the valves tonight and start assembling the motor, Kevin

I have the same question. The 3.6 gaskets are really different than the earlier ones. My motor came with a silicon gasket sealer on the gaskets. I don't know if this is required or not.

EDIT: Kevin, here is a thread from Rennlist on the subject. They say no, and state Pelican advises to use the sealant.

Kevin, yes 6 metal o rings for the exhaust gasket.
Thanks Harald, that's what I was thinking.

It's not nearly as loud as the super crapp mufflers + I can honestly pass emissions testing. Also I don't have to drill a hole and weld a nut on the header for an O2 bung.

I think the TRG headers may be acceptable for the track but for street driving / stop and go situations they build up a lot of heat. Also that slip fit deal with the super crapp mufflers really sucks, mine leak really bad no matter how tight they are.
