Could this be an ST front bumper ?
I have recently aquired a steel front bumper which I think may be for a 911ST. It is based on the '73 S steel bumper but the ends are slightly flared out - presumably to match flared front fenders.
I don't have an original '73 S to compare it with but from looking at pictures of the front bumper on these cars it appears as though the gap in the centre of the lower 'lip' is wider than standard. Can someone with an original '73 S bumper measure the width of this gap for me ? Also was the '73 S bumper fabricated in 2 halves (L & R) which were welded together ? My bumper has a verticle weld visible in the centre of it when viewed from the rear. Anyone else think that this might be a 911ST bumper ? It certainly looks like the grp version on GT-Racing's website. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Andy '69 911E--------------->R Last edited by andyjboy; 02-01-2003 at 12:38 PM.. |

I wish I could help you but I've got an RS front bumper. I'll see if it's flared like that but I kinda doubt it. I know someone's got to have an idea
