Vacuum Hose Help

Need some help confirming a loose vacuum hose's home...It starts behind the (secondary air?) canister on the right side of the engine by the oil fill and goes around the back of the engine and poked out. The only place I can see is a hole on the crank case on the drivers side of the engine.
For reference the engine is a 3.0 out of an 83
Thanks for the help

It attaches to the left side of the air box. There is a nipple sticking out and it just slides on.

By secondary air do you mean the charcoal canister that captures fuel tank vapors? In your second picture that's what that looks like. On my SC 3.0 there is no hose on the front side. A lot of the time the hose on the rear gets disconnected from the airbox because the charcoal pellets inside break down and get sucked into the airbox. So people disconnect them.
