hand throttle: what part is the "finger"?

my hand throttle does not engage. i have not opened it up yet but i was told the "finger" was missing. can someone please point out which part is known as the "finger" so i can buy and install the same day with no downtime? tia.

I believe you are talking about part#19. Its a white plastic piece that ingages a metal stop block on the throttle linkage. Its a little tedious to get at and to install, good luck, chris

thanks guys. when the car was in the shop to get aligned and corner balanced i asked the wrench to take a peek. noted on worksheet that the finger was missing and $200 to fix. think i will call EASY and save myself $195. figure at his rates this should be about a 2.5 hr job. thanks.

Also look close those fingers sometimes only are showing "down" and still in the tunnel. will save you another 15$ and make it an easy 5 minute job ;)
