Does this transmission mount look right?

I don't think this gap is right.
Did I install the wrong mounts?

G50 has an alu cross-member..this is just looking fine..some people put washer on top and bottom some do not.Otherwise it is ok--Porsche say 2 per mount
Personally i only use two on bottom like yours

Mine originally looked like that. I added an additional washer to take out the slack.

If you are not experiencing any shuddering when engaging the clutch, you are probably OK as is.

Having shifting irregularities. Sometime it goes into gear perfect. Other times needs some perswation. Rebuilt transmission and wevo shifter.

Yes.
Doesn't really apply when I'm stopped and have to force it a bit into first.

yes to what?;-) if you have trouble shifting into 1st standing check you coupler adjustments and of course the clutch adjustments.
my guess is the coupler adjustments...

My point was in relation to starting out as you are slipping the clutch. If the mounts are able to move it could cause a shuddering or vibration resulting in uneven clutch engagement.

Shifting is another issue.

Sorry. Yes to 1 second delay.
I've been doing lots of adjusting.
The wevo is pretty easy because it centers well.
I'm concerned my rebuild isn't up to snuff.

I had a shop do the rebuild.
1st and second synchro and lots of other parts. $3000 in parts.
Is it possible to assembly the transmission and not have it perfectly line up?

If the problem is after your gearbox was repaired the problem could be that the energizer that was used inside the brake band was the incorrect one.
Don't ask why I know. LOL
Regards.

911 rod..it is not normal if this shop is a professional 911 shop.
Also it takes time before your synchro are broken in.How long ago was this done and did you contact them regarding this problem?

not normal.
I do believe there should be another washer there.
it should also bolt all the way up.
I hope they did not cross thread the bolt. did you put a wrench on it?

I did the re and re myself. Had the rebuild done by a shop that I am not having communications with anymore (Unfortunate, but that is the way it is)
About 3,000 km since rebuild.
Bolts are fine as I have checked them a few times.
"energizer that was used inside the brake band" What is this?
I pulled out the old ones and they appear to be the same.
Another reason I am concerned is a certain corner at the track with a hard turn then a quick downshift I had problems finding 3rd. Not always even though my driving technique was the same.
Maybe I need the WEVO mounts?

ya gotta keep the tranny from moving first off.
pull the tranny mount off. clean the threads on the bolt and the body.
put a washer in there

'Pregnant pause' sure, but 1 second? In one second you totally lose rev-matching...

I often have long gaps like that, but need to double clutch and rev match.

Ya, more like a split second. The least amount of time you can.

So putting a washer between the body and rubber?
