It's been too long baby!

Just had to share with the board my excitement from today: after having the 911 in hibernation (due to new baby, work, other family obligations and the weather) since our last Fun Run on 11/24 I fired her up today and hit the road for the first time in '03.

Man, what a great feeling to be back behind the wheel. Not only did she start right up but she ran like a champ! Up and down through the gears or bouncing off the redline, it felt like I had just driven her yesterday.

What was supposed to be only a trip to and from the office turned into a 2 hour excursion on the way home. I don't know if I am going to be able to sleep until Spring gets here and the real driving starts.

When I got home and my wife saw the smile on my face she asked if I was out doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing

Yeah, you were out with the other woman. "Fired her up" and "she ran like a champ".

Me too. A very nice day to be out. Tomorrow supposed to be even nicer!!

I was out there too, guys. It was a beautiful day for a drive. I had the sunroof open, the heater on, and I was grinning from ear to ear.

Me too, guys. I took advantage of the break in weather to fit my new euro tail lights, give the car a good washing, and take it out for a nice afternoon ride. I needed it, and the car did too.
