Will using spacers necessitate an alignment?

Thinking to use spacers, nothing extreme - maybe 12mm or so. Generally speaking, does adding spacers suggest the need for an alignment? Is camber affected?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum! Unless you mess with lowering or caster, adding spacers to widen your wheel stance will not require an alignment.

I run 5mm spacers and never touched my alignment until I added rear adjustable control arms.. that's when you need to get into alignment stuff. Are you running your stock wheels with them? If aftermarket, you'll want to make sure you get hub centric rings.

Anyways, we have an assortment of spacers here if interested: 1979 Porsche 911 SC Coupe - Axles, Bearings & Differential - Page 3. Elephant racing and Rothsport are what I recommend. I think we might have a promo coming up on Rothsport soon, but not 100% sure.
