Help with 84 911 kick panel ductwork
Guys,
I need help, I dismantled some duct work behind r kick panel in order to do some rewiring and now I have 1 extra hose end and no place to plug it. I don’t know if I misplaced a y-tube or what. Does anyone have an 84 911 Carrera that could shoot a few pics to help. I could in return give technical advice regarding engine change, clutch, transmission repair. Regards, John |

google 'PET diagrams and you should find a link, scroll around until you find the diagram showing the vent system stuff (it takes a while to figure out how they are organized). Make sure you are looking at the right year. You will be able to see how all of the parts fit together.

Each side has a 2-inch diameter, wire reinforced, composite duct going from the frunk to the interior. The sockets are hard to locate and easily disappear into the dash or carpeting if you lose track of where the duct came from.
Are both of these ducts in you car now? Sometimes they disappear behind all the under dash wiring, and you must remove a carpet piece to see the sockets. They both are 6-8 inches long and are shaped into some 's' curves to fit. Bill K
