Dead battery

Hello my 07 997's battery went dead yesterday so i hooked up a battery charger under the dash and opened the hood and charged the battery. The battery is full and my car still doesn't do anything. Do you have any fuses that i need to check to see if one of them popped or any other things i can check. Thanks

This forum is geared towards the air-cooled cars up through 1989. Check out the 997 forum here.

did you put a meter on the battery?
what do you mean be "it did not do anything"

that is very vague.
any dash lights come on?
any clicking sounds when trying to start it?

put a meter on the battery while trying to start, the battery may be bad.

if not check and clean connections

Did you push the battery charge post back in on the fuse block. If I recall that acts as a breaker for the battery to fusebox power.

Sorry first time on these forums. i will look for one for 997. The car does nothing so it might be what 2001f4s said to push back in the battery charge post and it will connect the battery to the car. Thanks guys. i will let you know what happens.

original battery to your '07 997? could be that at 10 years it's dead -- showing voltage but not enough amps to turn over car
