Does anyone have any leads on a Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 23?
Basic functions (ON-OFF, manual station seek, aotu station seek) seem to work. I think I have problems with the speakers (Only getting sound from the right door) and some of the buttons were kinda gummy. I know a bunch of the buttons are for the cassette operations. I'm trying to figure out if it's FM only (seems to be) or what. ![]() Can anyone help? ------------------ Dave '77 911S inari77s@911fanatic.com Rochester, NY |

Nope, it is AM/FM, it was the high end stereo option around 1986. I am guessing it came in 911's, but it definitely came in 944's. I am going strictly off memory because it has been a long time since I had my 944, but i think the top row 3rd or fourth button over switches AM/FM. If it is switching to AM but you don't get any reception then the problem is in the connection ( I can't remember the details on the AM hookup)

The top 3 buttons on the left(marked U,M,L)control frequency. U is FM, M is AM, and L is useless(long range). The button above the treble adjustment is the mono/stereo control. The slider button inbetween the tuning switches id for the tuning sensitivity(normal, high, manual). Hope this helps.

Dave,
The Monterrey was installed in the upgraded audio package with the 85 Carrera. If yours is dead, I have one in nice shape from my 85, complete with owners manual. email off list. Tony K 85 Carrera |
