Very cool, thanks for posting it.
|
Simply amazing.

Pure awesomeness. Saw some of those cars at the Museum, obviously they rotate the exhibit, but nothing as weird as what was in those pics!

Wow, beyond belief. Great post.

So cool! All that history locked away with hardly anyone seeing it.
The radio in the grey 959 looks like the current Porsche Classic radio/nav unit. Interesting... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1504418247.jpg Years ago in an old VW & Porsche magazine, I think there was an article about a kit someone was making to use an air cooled VW engine in a motorcycle. I wonder how many were made. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1504418357.jpg |
Cayenne Targa? You know it.
928 wagon? I'd buy one today. |
There have been quite a few Porsche-powered BMW bikes over the years. (I used to be into BMW airheads so I was aware of stuff like that.) There was even (at least) one with a four-cam.
And that reminds me of another oddity. I remember a small item (sidebar) from the old "Sports Car Graphic" of a four-cam in a Fiat 500 - the real one, not the bloated replica we have now. That should have been a good street sleeper for sure. |
