Swing arm monoball cartridge loose - JB weld time??
I thought the swing arm monoball was worn and loose.
Turns out the cartridge is loose in the aluminum swing arm. Wear is evident where the snap ring has been moving and creating a slight trench on the swing arm. The cartridge is supposed to be pressed in and a tight fit. They were installed in September 2004, 45,000 miles ago. I'm thinking using JB weld to glue new cartridges in. Anyone else have this problem? |
