The front grill material was fabricated by Dave Palermo. These inserts aren't sold by anyone i could find.

Even though done more assembly is needed like door mirror, rockers, and much more it was sent to interior shop. Interior was horrific in the car when purchased

The two tone interior will be now be all black leather with orange stitching and orange piping on the sears. Rear seats being removed. Almost all pieces being leather wrapped. Everything plastic is being repainted black and few of new aftermarket installs like Rennline pedal kits in black, rennline flooring, rennline black sill plates.

Headliner will be Alcatara, so will the visors and seat inserts. Car was dropped off in may 17 and is progressing quickly. Will send new some photos soon.

During this time in body shop Tim Pott was hard at work on his part.

Engine had a new cam installed with Pmo carbs. Engine was powder coated and is waiting for installation.

Also waiting for install is a wevo shifter, lightweight clutch and flywheel. Danzk 2 in/2 out exhaust with SSI heat exchangers. Trans was rebuilt and ready for a long life.

Uhm, this sure wasn't meant negative (or disrespectful) at all!
I'm the last person to be a it-must-be-all-original freak. I like all kinds of amendmends. Especially when so much work is involved.

So, all my apologies, sorry you got me "wrong". Keep up the good work!
Sure looking foreward for you updating us... and the final result.

Thank you.

My apologies. I misread the gg. My friends are all jerks and use it in the negative way.

Elombard- everytime I pictured it the car in my head it simply wasn't a long hood. I know that most will think it is crazy but I like the look of using the bumper and not going with the full long hood. And I know it would be worth more someday as a long hood but I don't intend to sell. I do hope to someday own a long hood coupe and stay on the look out for one but just couldn't do it in this car. It is my crazy opinions that had me build versus buying

Beautiful. God I love pictures of freshly painted cars.

One question: why the SSI's on a 3.2? I thought the primaries are smaller than the 3.2's exhaust ports.

Cevan- went with ssi due to owning a brand new set already for another car and I love the look of them. I know headers and other options would have added more performance.

You know, I think we're all certifiably nuts, so if we clean that up we get passion - and oh man this build has that all the way. So you just go for it and let us keep seeing this phenomenal car/vision/goal materialize before our eyes! I think it's fantastic.

I admit I'm a 'navy/tan' loving freak, so you making it Signal Orange took some ungluing of my bias, and you've got me rooting you on. Gonna be awesome.

BTW, the Fuchs are making me seriously jealous (I've got an M491 running factory 8s and spacers, so you're not helping matters here!) Keep us posted. Fun stuff.
