Firestone Indy 500

Was looking on Tire Rack today and looks like the Firestone Indy 500 have great reviews. Does anyone run these tires. It'd be good to see what the reviews are on this forum, comparing to other tires.

Several of us folks run the Firestone Indy 500 "wide oval" tires. I have no issues.

I will try to find the old thread. They were popular because they came in some 16inch sizes that were getting hard to find.

I've been more than happy with the set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires I put on my SC 5 years ago. Hankook has some pretty good rebates going right now, perhaps $100 on a set of 4, and if you shop them at Discount Tire Direct before tomorrow, they might even throw in free shipping and another $75 rebate. I think they are based in Arizona with warehouses around the country.

I just purchased and received a set of Hankook tires for one of my other vehicles from them last week that will wind up costing me about $244 for the set, to my front door.
