85 hard oil line repair??

Hey guys I would like your input on this one!!
I have an 85,911 and noticed that the oil lines comming from the tank are leaking pretty good from where the rubber and hard line crimp is located and the rubber is also seeping it looks like.
The question is has anyone repaired these and if so...how??
New are like $320 a piece and I don't have it right now!

Thanks

Is it the long hard line that runs under the rocker or the shorter flex/hard line that runs from the tank to the t-stat? If it's the later you can pick-up a new line from our host for $69. Do a search and you can read about rebuilding and replaceing.

Yes, it is the rubber to hard oil lines that run under the rocker to the front oil cooler that are warn and seeping. The rubber part has seen it's day!!

Mully,

I'm not sure which oil line you have leaking, but none of the flex lines for your car are any where near $320.

Flex lines can also be repaired. Take them to a hydraulic shop and have them replace the hose, re-use the metal tubing and ends. The swage clamps get replaced.
