Delete A/C, finally got rid of that compressor bracket
I finally removed that a/c bracket that use to support the compressor. I finished the a/c delete last year and that bracket was bugging me. I was avoiding that bracket as some of the exhaust system had to be pulled. As usual once I got going it wasn’t that bad. I also fabbed and installed a block off plate for the hole.

Great post.... surprised the bracket is 2.4 pounds, it's a lot bigger than I thought.

I removed my AC over 3 yrs ago and my AC bracket still remains in place. Your thread has me motivated.
